Along the Wine Road - Agate Field

In Zillah on Roza Drive,  Agate Field Vineyard opened its doors on April 1st. Owned by Bob and Ginger Radke, this no frills, unpretentious winery offers visitors a chance to be a part of the action. With the tasting room inside the barrel room, you may catch some actual bottling, labeling or blending going on.

"We like to get the customers involved," states Bob. "We'll invite them to label a bottle or check the barrels with us."

You can't help but be impressed with the cute western store front of Agate Field Winery. Equipped with large upper and lower wood decks, picnic and wine sipping areas abound.

In the tasting room you'll find Agate Field's La Moissin red table wine and a lovely Syrah paired with fresh cheeses. Small gift items and tokens from the winery are also on hand. The current hours of operation are Friday - Sunday, 11-5. For more information, visit www.agatefieldvineyard.com.
